We love to develop new products with our customers and we want them to be the very best at what they do. We keep up to date with scientific literature and developments, and have a high success rate for the launch of new products. We employ experienced formulation chemists and analysts working in fully equipped laboratories, where we turn ideas into realities. A key strength is our analytical facilities, which let us support our customers with many types of specialised physical and chemical analysis.

Agrochemicals
Agrochemicals are a broad chemical class covering insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, synthetic fertilizers, hormones and other chemical growth agents.
We manufacture tablets for several specialist agricultural applications and we enjoy close relationships with our customers in this heavily legislated industry. > To Top of Page
Animal Welfare
Using our expertise in human nutraceuticals, we work closely with many leading Pet Care companies to help them develop new products to extend their product ranges. On their behalf we produce nutritional supplements in tablets, softgel and liquid format for cats, dogs and fish, several of which are licensed products.
As well as domestic pets we also supply supplements for zoo animals and cattle and even a product that is used in apiculture (bee keeping)!

Personal Care
Although we do not hold our own product licences, our MHRA licence enables us to manufacture and contract fill licensed creams and liquids into tubes (metal and plastic), bottles and sachets and to manufacture tablets and softgels under licence. Several of the products that we currently produce are for the treatment of dermatological conditions such as eczema and psoriasis or for intimate use such as lubricants.
Using our knowledge of nutritional ingredients we have also developed a range of topical 'nutraceuticals' products including glucosamine gel and aloe vera aftersun.

Potable Water Treatment
It is well known that contaminated drinking water is a major contributor to diseases world-wide. To safeguard the quality of drinking water for the traveller, we manufacture safe, rapidly dissolving water sterilization and neutralisation tablets.
Biocides and Disinfectants
Globalization means that the world is a smaller place. Whilst it is easier for us to travel, it is also easier for pathogens to do the same. We all know that good hygiene is essential for good health. Together with our customers, we have developed tablets with broad and differing activities that are effective against many species including legionella.
Pool Treatment Chemicals
When undissolved solids contaminate a pool, the water becomes cloudy, dirty and unhygienic. Contamination might include fragments of calcium carbonate, pieces of dead algae, and other organic matter. Bacteria will proliferate in these conditions making the pool unsafe. Filter aid tablets can remove this debris and will restore sparklingly bright, clear swimming pool water. > To Top of Page
Brewing Chemicals
Clarification
One of the main causes of cloudy beer is the presence of proteins which react to form light-scattering particles. If these proteins can be removed, then the beer is clearer, it has a longer shelf life and is visually more attractive. Clarification tablets are specifically formulated to tackle this problem. They are widely used in the brewing industry due to their high reactivity with haze causing proteins. Upon addition of these tablets, high molecular weight complexes are formed, which can then be easily removed.

Household Products
Within the household products sector there has been a move towards single use formats including tablets. The innovation within this industry over recent years is something that we are perfectly placed to deal with. As well as the convenience factor in today's cash rich, time poor society, tablets offer other advantages:
Reduced chemical exposure
The risk of contacting a chemical is significantly reduced when the operator does not have to weigh or pour an active ingredient.
Controlled dosing
The delivery of the actives is controlled, precise, accurate and repeatable every time.
Convenience
It is far easier to handle a tablet than other chemical forms such as liquids or powders.
Reduced wastage
The temptation to ‘add a bit extra’ is removed when the dosage is perfectly controlled.
Elimination of spillage and leakage
Quite simply, a tablet cannot leak. This reduces impact to both man and the environment that might otherwise come from a spillage.
We have worked with customers to produce single dose softgels and tablets for a wide range of household products including detergents and descalers.
We also own Kettle Klear, an award winning descaler tablet.
